Cascade

This piece is a reflection of the death of the societal expectations of femininity and the birth of individual femininity. The urge to explore and show femininity in a way that is less explored or accepted compelled me during the creation of 'Cascade'. Femininity is soft, light, and digestible. Femininity is harsh, moody, and dark. There needs to be no division between this. Femininity occupies all spaces and is amalgamous. 'Cascade', inspired by my dying calla lilies, is the birth of my identity and my femininity.
